	From time to time I find myself wondering about the Dark Side of the force. I’ve found that it’s very easy to resist another’s temptations. My own temptations are a different story. I’ve been tempted once or twice by the Dark Side. At those times the choice between the light side and the dark was crystal clear, easy to see. The choice was not easy to follow and required determination and effort to complete, but in the end it was the right choice. Sometimes, I wonder if I have ever really tempted. Powerfully tempted. All that I have is my wits, skills and the Jedi code. It has been enough in the past, but it’s difficult to see what will come in the future. I believe that those who have been tempted by the Dark Side, and have found their way back to the Light are strong in a way that I am not. Those who have been tempted and slipped down towards the Dark Side have discovered that they do make mistakes. They can temper their choices with the humility of knowing that even Jedi are not perfect and they make mistakes. If they can find the strength to forgive their mistakes and set things right, those Jedi find it easier to find their compassion for others.
