	The Jedi Code does not forbid emotion. I believe that The Jedi Code warns against acting while filled with emotion. Your judgment is clouded. While full of emotion, acts that seem to be kindness, compassionate, justified may in fact be cruel, selfish, petty. Those emotions can disguise the true nature of your actions from yourself and hide the dark side from you. That is one of the dangers of the Dark Side in that you use it to hide from yourself. From the things you fear about yourself. The things that you wish to hide from others. The things that you want to run away from. One of the Dark Sides’ most seductive aspects is that it lets you pretend that you are not responsible for your actions. Once you’ve realized what your actions have accomplished only then do you understand that you have started down the path to the Dark Side of the force. Or that you have fallen to the dark side. Master Li warned us that once you have placed yourself on the path to the Dark Side, it does not let go. Not easily in any case. I believe that emotion is not inherently Light or Dark. To act without understanding the root of your emotions, that will quickly lead to the Dark Side. The Jedi have no room for self deception.
