	I’ve been unsuccessful in plotting our final destination. I’ll admit that I’m caught in a whirlpool of emotions. I will watch as each emotion surfaces and face it in turn. Thus I plan to weather the storm and emerge stronger, rather than wallow in the dark depths, where the dark side lays waiting to whisper with a seductive voice into my soul. A risky path, but I don’t believe that Jedi were ever meant to suppress their emotions, how could one do that and still retain that thing that makes them Jedi? I believe that the answer lies in understanding the cause for the emotion or that reaction. Only once that has been understood and accepted can you act rather than react to the Universe. An insightful path. Often I am surprised by what I find out about myself, more so that the actual incident. Still, while in the middle of the storm I sometimes find it hard to find the other shore. I know it’s there. It’s always there. Finding that shore can be the tricky part. So today I update my journal to sort through my thoughts and find the way to the shore. I’ve lost a close friend. Yanna loved me. She would make any sacrifice to get closer to my heart. Yet I could not accept her as an apprentice. This, more than anything else I could do, hurt her. I represented to Yanna all of her hopes and dreams about what was good and right in her universe. If I could not accept her, what did that mean about her? I could not train her. She had heard the whisperings of the Dark Side. Lacking any previous guidance, she chose the quicker and more seductive path.
