Haselvlat's 1st Datapad Entry

	Type 19 Datapad
	His blue, furry face drooped for a second as he realized this was all wrong. He reluctantly set the strap back down on the ground and plopped back on his haunches to look at the dead snake-thing. "I didn't really defeat you" he said to the snake. "If anyone should be wearing you it's Bebo and I don't think you're his style. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I just can't put you to use for this. I need something that I actually killed on my own." The wheels in his brain turned for a little while as he thought of something productive to do with this body so as not to dishonor it, then he got it. Haselvlat shot up with a big grin on his face. He picked up the strap with spines and wrapped it around his wrist. He then made a few more matching ones to fit around his other arms. Then he split open the intestines and smeared the acidic contents across his back. He dipped his hands in it's blood and applied it as war painting to his face and arms. Then he took what remained of the skull and fastened it to his head so that the fangs came down to a tip right above his eyes. He stretched out his arms and legs and twisted to look at himself. He was a perfect image of a hunter. He knew from past experience that the smell of the decaying animal would completely block his own and that it would attract anything that might eat the snake-things. Maybe it would be more of its own kind but more likely it would be whatever was a little higher up in the food chain.
