Description: Percy has dark hair, cut short, and is generally neat and non-descript. Her outfits (prefers jumpsuits) are worn, but carefully patched (not duct taped) and reguarly washed. She wears boots with a thick sole that add another inch or so to her height. Her only visible excess is the five piercings in each ear (silver studs and small hoops) and the two or three rings on each hand--one of which is a wedding band.
Famous Quote: "I could be out in the middle of nowhere getting my mech shot out from undereath my ass for nothing, or I could come here and get my mech shot out from underneath my ass for profit. What the hell."

Hailing from the upstart Periphery nation Marion Hegemony, Percy is a member of their unique military branch. Basing themselves off of the ancient Roman Empire, the still relatively-small battlemech Legions of the Hegemony have been making steady advances against nearly every other periphery nation and independent planet in the region. While still considered a minor threat, and not even recognized by the major Houses as a real country, Percy is one of their first Mechwarriors to participate in the games on Solaris VII. She is a mysterious woman, preferring to be by herself or with her 'mech. Percy speaks with a slight Terran-like accent, possibly due to her upbringing in ComStar sponsored schools. There are hints that she may be, or was previously, married--but she prefers not to talk about it.

And they are three, the Gorgons, each with wings
And snaky hair, most terrible to mortals.
Whom no man shall behold and draw again
The breath of life

Percy's views on the other team members:

Malik: The man has the tactics of a thug. He shows no respect for conventional authority or rank, nor any tolerance towards anyone. It seems to get him in a lot of trouble fairly frequently, which Malik resolves with brutal physical force. Percy is baffled as to why a supposed mech pilot would risk his life (and the lives of others around him) and his mech by constantly getting into brawls over stupid matters he could have easily avoided if he bothered to use his head rather than his fists. One conflict can only lead to more conflicts, and eventually Malik will be shot dead in the street or dragged off to rot in prison. He deserves what he gets. Malik also claims to be a pilot, though his little jaunt through the city is not an indication of any skill whatsoever, and further proof of his glaring lack of tact. Percy would dismiss him as a nuisance, a petty criminal, and dog meat if she didn't know better. Malik has shown some signs of being a decent human being, including being nice to Maria and retrieving a few unconscious party members instead of leaving them. But on the whole Percy thinks he is more trouble than he is worth. She will reserve her opinon of Malik's piloting ability until she has a chance to see what he can do, but she is expecting the same thug tendancies he has shown on the street.

Maria: Nice girl, but she has been through a lot and she seems to be recovering badly. Percy has seen her drunk or drugged far more than she has seen her sober, which does not bode well. Although the girl does have a mech, Percy has no clue of the girl's ability to pilot it, drunk or sober. She fears that Maria has cannon fodder written all over her. Percy will try to get her to straighten up and will offer protection if needed, but her patience will only extend so far.

Jez: Percy pities Jez, for the poor noble obviously has no idea what she is doing or how much trouble she is getting into. Percy doesn't pay much attention to the girl's title, but she realizes that plenty of others do. She finds Jez's willingness to foot the bill and live extravagantly quite disturbing, though convenient. But eventually (perhaps sooner, rather than later) the funds will run out and Jez will have to deal with the consequences. Percy has no wish to be indebted to the girl (and no wish to dig her grave deeper) and intends to repay her for her generosity. Jez also seems to bear a grudge against Malik for a number of insults. Percy can understand why she would be upset, but she would hope that Jez would cool down and ignore him. Conflict between them will only escalate to a dangerous level and prove detrimental to those around them.

Renja: Pretty sure he's a spy for someone or something. Obvious ulterior motives, and not good at sneaking around to boot. Doesn't really care about him one way or another, as long as he doesn't take a personal interest in her. Interesting looking mech - she wonders how effective it is.

Jene René: So who's the guy with the irritating accent who showed up and messed with Jez's mech? Funny prank - should teach her a lesson about who rides in her mech.

Jonathan: Interesting person. His love of rare objects seems to consume him, but Percy thinks there is more to him than meets the eye. For one, he pilots a rare mech and he is part of a mercenary group. His collection of ancient and valuable things is fascinating, but Percy is not a collector, nor does she desire objects that do not have a functional purpose. Percy senses that he could likely be a good ally or a dangerous enemy. She has no wish to find out how dangerous an enemy.

Irca: Bad influence on Maria.

Jamie: It is not surprising that he gets along so well with Malik. The two of them could be from the same family - they think alike. Jamie is less brash and seems to have some measure of tolerance. He also seems to be the only person Malik regards with any sort of respect - a good point, he may be able to lend some thought to Malik's actions. The two of them together are trouble, and they will likely place everyone around them in danger to fulfil whatever lame secret agenda they have in common (oh yeah, they are being so subtle about that, if you call stomping through a museum being subtle). Percy will keep an eye on them both, if only to figure out when she should pack up and walk away and leave them to charge the dragon's lair and get baked extra crispy.
