Seela. There is more to you than you let on to the world around you. You and I share the same trick. I learned mine from Master Li, where did you learn yours? The trick is to let the universe see you weaker than you really are. When your opponents see your apparent weakness, they will underestimate you. You can use this trick to avoid unnecessary violence and bloodshed. You can use this to your advantage when you must fight. I do it to hide my Jedi background from the rest of the universe. Seela is more intelligent than she looks, she notices more than she lets on. Only now has she come to grudgingly consider the fact that Jedi might exist and that I may be one. It's hard for her to believe, growing up as a slave. To believe in anything is difficult. She happens to have found a knight in shinning armor. Someone to rescue her from her captivity and whisk her away on a shinning starship. I fit the bill, rather dramatically. What happens when Seela sees through the story, the Jedi, to the man at the center of the whole story? In the end, all of the labels that get piled onto me, at the center of it all is just a man. Like anyone else. What happens then? As with many of the things in my life right now, I will need to wait and see.

I've promised to release Seela from her status as slave. She will be free. To do as she wishes. Go were she will. I already treat Seela that way, but the paperwork will go a long way for the rest of the universe. Laying awake in bed I've begun to realize this might be harder to do than I first thought. I will find a way, I'm just not sure what it is yet.
