	When she started to fight, she killed. No restraint. No mercy. Nothing tempered her. She was utterly ruthless. I don’t believe that I could have stopped her. Master Li would say that with the Force as my ally, I was not to be underestimated. I believe that given time I could find a way to stop this woman, but I don’t know how long that would take. Weeks? Months? Years? Where do you draw the line? I believe that one of a Jedi’s responsibilities is to stand against those who have fallen to the Dark Side. So why did I not stand up to this woman? It could be argued that I knew she would kill me where I stood. There was much left for me to do. We have to find that control board for the rebellion. The Imperial Governor was not a nice human. Replacing him and his regime would make a difference for the people in that sector. But we didn’t need to kill to accomplish this. Many of the people we met would have killed us. Where I could I spared life. But those who died, I bear some measure of responsibility for. That responsibility will follow me for the rest of my days. So I ask myself, could I have done more? Could I have found a way to resolve issues without resorting to lethal force? I suspect I will spend the rest of my life exploring these issues with each new person I meet. I suppose that is not a bad lesson to have learned.
