	Personal journal for Lim Res. Entry 7A34F593 Quantum Encryption Activated… Recording. Evil. I’ve had my share of encounters with evil and the Dark Side of the Force before, but not quite like this. It’s tempting to think about the Dark Side in terms that take the sting out of an encounter. Terms that are sanitized. Terms that aren’t as graphic. Not as descriptive. That protect or distract you from a baser reaction to evil. The part of you that wants to recoil in horror, or climb into a hole. The part of you that doesn’t want to face the darkness in the universe. That part of you that whispers it’s easier to turn a blind eye, or make an excuse why some action was justifiable. Evil. It’s so much easier to pretend it doesn’t exist. All of us face that choice from time to time. I choose the harder path. I believe that by pretending that evil doesn’t exist or pretending that it won’t come for you, that just lets evil spread and grow. So I choose to stand and face the darkness. But I question my own conviction in my beliefs.
