I look around at the other beings on this ship and I wonder... is there another way? While everyone seems to cooperate from time to time, none of them seem to be counting on another's strength or power to stay safe.

Could that be a path for me to take as well?

Regardless, I'm tired of being scared and afraid for my own life. Since the past few days have been more violent than anything I've ever seen in my life, I need to learn new skills so that I might survive.

I must find another mentor. A teacher. Someone who understands violence in many forms. I must find a way to learn from them, all that I can.
