I'm surprised to find how violent the universe is. Having taken my chance to escape Bah'ger and his unpleasant marriage arrangement, I wonder if I've traded one form of abuse for another. Have I caused some sort of imbalance in the universe and this is Gerkak'vati's way of punishing me for acting out from my place in society?

Having caused such an upset in society. I'm not sure what my clan has to say about my actions. What my matron would have to say about me. The various beings I have called master, mistress, teacher, friend. What do they have to say about my choices? So unbecoming of my station? It's not hard to imagine the amount of trouble that I'm in.

I wonder if there is a way to make things right?
