Rel Theslin's 1st Datapad Entry

	Personal journal for Rel Theslin. Entry 563A Recording. "I'm going to the local meeting, I'll be back in a few hours. Want me to get you anything?" The amalgam of grumbling sounds that came as a response from under the piles of bedding could only be partially considered an answer. Rel checked her chrono and guessed that Var had been out heavily last night and was likely in the throes of a passionate hangover. Stepping into the small refresher, Rel checked herself over again to make certain her hair was regulation and her uniform was immaculate. The local SAGroup was likely a bunch of bumpkins, but it was always best to be prepared for an actual first rate outfit. 'Keep appearances up' dad used to say. Didn't matter that the COMPNOR propaganda was often rather blatant three day old street dung, The Empire was in charge and in the wake of 'The Yavin Incident' they were headhunting something serious for someone to blame. Walking out into the cockpit of their modified Skipray Blastboat, the Deaf Pedestrian, Rel checked over a half dozen screens to make certain in her night of revelry Var hadn't jettisoned anything or set the self destruct... which had already happened once before. First rate pilot, hell with a blaster, totally worthless after two drinks. After a moments realization, Rel noticed the collection of clothes strewn on seats and control panels was more then any one person needed. Peeking back into her sister's room Rel wrinkled her nose at a very masculine foot poking from underneath the covers.
