Seela Fen's 3rd Datapad Entry

	Rol'Ree Manufacturing Type-36C Datapad
	Personal journal for Seela Fen. The return trip to our ship was frightening. Whoever was attacking the ship was doing a good job. In retrospect I think it was the group of beings we saw who had setup a base far away around the curve of the kudzu. They had managed to make a hole and keep it open. Ships flew in and out. Strange. It turns out they had been raiding the Imperial ship for slaves. The Imperials had been raiding the Village for slaves. And now these strangers, tired of the Imperial presence had come back. Not to raid, but to destroy. I never got a great look at these beings, just quick hurried glances. From the carnage we ran across, there were to be no prisoners. No survivors. The odd thing is their equipment. Not based on technology, but rather something else. Take the spear that attacked Rel's datapad. What an odd sentence. A spear attacked the datapad. But that's what happened. I don't remember if the datapad was thrown, or if we got the datapad near the spear. Either way, it actually attacked and bit the datapad several times. It acted much like a snake, only it was a weapon. Odd. The ideas and implications are... disturbing.
