WHM-8K Warhammer
The Warhammer version 8K is a recent addition to the battlefield armies of the Draconis Combine. Seeing little need to improve upon their already formidable version 7, the engineers at Luthien Mechworks were "left out of the loop" on this design. The individual techs of the elite Kuritan 5th Sword of Light Regiment completed the modifications on their own--stripping out the small lasers and adding in a Martell Medium laser in their place. In addition, they dropped half a ton of machine gun ammo, allowing the 'mech to carry that much more armor plating. This specific vehicle is painted in the flame-like color scheme of the Sword of Light, and is mysteriously in the hands of an independent operator from the Davion held world of Northwind.

Color Scheme: Kuritan 5th Sword of Light Variation.
The flaming Katana on the SoL's symbol has been changed 
to a Claymore. In addition there are a couple of stencils
on the outboard side of the legs: A plain blue diamond,
with white borders, and a white silhouette of a coffee cup
on a saucer, with little waves of heat rising above it.
The diamond is about 12" tall. Beside it is a rectangle, 
blue field with white borders, and an arrow pointing up.
