MAD-4M Marauder

The Marauder is considered one of the most effective battlemechs in existence. First built by General Motors in the early 2600's, its rare walker-pod design was intended as the precursor for an entirely new generation of 'mechs. However, with the fall of the Star League, the other 'mechs in the Marauder series remained on the drawing boards. Although barely produced in modern factories, this vehicle is still a fairly common sight on Inner Shpere battlefields simply due to its high rate of survival. Both an effective command vehicle and a heavy hitter, the MAD-3R and its numerous variants are expected to still be fighting effectivly for centuries to come.
