CPLT-C1 Catapult
The CPLT-C1 Catapult was first built in 2561 by Hollis Industries under a special limited contract to the Star League. Unable to commit to the design due to the continued success of the SLDF Archer, the contract was eventually dropped and production ended in 2563. Two hundred years later the design was quickly upgraded to include four Martell medium lasers and production once again began on the planet Corey just prior to the 1st Succession War. The factory was subsequently destroyed in the fighting, and the majority of the produced Catapults fell into Liao control. The Capellans still produce limited numbers of the machines from a small Hollis branch-factories on Sarna and Tikonov. These vehicles feature the improved Anderson 25 jumpjets over the original, and somewhat faulty, type 21. Nevertheless, many of the older Catapults still carry the original Anderson 21s and are prone to excessive overheating due to poorly-vented jump exhaust.

Notes: This particular machine was captured by Davion forces from a Liao arsenal on the planet Ward in 2904. It has passed through many Draconis March units and is currently in the posession of a Davion Privateer.
